Vezina update

Only considering the netminders that will play in at least 60 games:

Code:
Marty Turco 70 games 34 wins 1.99 GAA .911 S% 8 SO's
Jose Theodore 62 games 32 wins 2.17 GAA .923 S% 6 SO's
Martin Brodeur 69 games 34 wins 2.03 GAA .917 S% 10 SO's

Well, based on those numbers it looks like Brodeur gets another one, unless they feel guilty about screwing Turco last year. Numbers that close, I bet they give it to the bigger name with more experience (the guy who's "paid his dues").

Not sure, all this talk about Turco not deserving it because he was quite horrible in the beginning, whereas Brodeur has been even more putrid ever since Stevens went out.

Bad stretches for each, good numbers for both. Luongo will get his eventually. Either Brodeur or Turco should win it, they're both fairly deserving (and I hate both those teams), although if Theodore wins I won't be upset about it.

Here they are, Owen's sure-fire picks!

Hart: Martin St. Louis
runners up: Markus Naslund and Joe Sakic

People giving it to Sakic seem to forget who he's playing with. Notice how St. Louis' little slump coincides with Tampa's recent slide?

Art Ross: Joe Sakic
runners up: Martin St. Louis and Markus Naslund

Sakic is turning it up and I think he will catch St. Louis

Calder: Andrew Raycroft
runners up: Michael Ryder and Joni Pitkanen

As much as I'd like to see Ryder win it, Raycroft should have this

Vezina: Don't know yet

These last 10 games will really prove who's more deserving. In contention are Brodeur, Turco, Theodore, Luongo, Raycroft and even Kiprusoff

Adams: Andy Murray
runners up: Claude Julien and Ron Wilson

If LA makes the playoffs, Murray is the winner, if not its wide open

Selke: Alyn McCauley
runners up: Kris Draper and John Madden

Had Draper not been hurt, he would've taken it easily

Norris: Chris Pronger
runners up: Zdeno Chara and Bryan McCabe(can't believe i'm mentionning him)

Pronger has been far and away the best dman this year
