"We can start off in a box formation, then roll out to the umbrella," said head coach Claude Julien, who has kept Bergeron, a center, at or near the point with Chara, as Dave Lewis did last year. "We're giving teams different looks. If they set up a certain way, we can set up another way."

#1 PP in the NHL Seems like CJ actually thinks about the game with in the game. Something that some coaches didn't do...couch couch...LEWIS! How many times did we see something that didn't work yet Lewis still stayed his course. It is stuff like that that got him fired.

I think I am almost ready to give up my gripes with Lewis. He is gone now and I should be happy. I just hope his habits are broken which appears to be happening. Thumbs up to Claude J! He has the team moving.

I think eventually will see Kessel back at center down the road.
I'll give the kids a lot of props though.....he's playing the wing position and not complaining about anything.

GO RICK KESSEL GO!

Surprising stat about Alberts...16 block shots...nice

Timmay is number 1 after Backstrom gave up 3 or 4 last night.

If the Sox do reach a game 6, I think it's in the Bruins best interest to move the start time of the Rangers game up. I know Chia won't say anything at this point, especially with no game 6 guaranteed, but it makes a lot of sense. They could make it a matinee, the first of the season. Hub's right, no one but us will be watching that, and for many, like myself, there would be a high amount of flipping. To save LFer's the possible development of Carpal Tunnel, the B's need to move Saturday's game up if the Sox are still playing .

Lewis who?

Thank god for that short term memory thing. Like you say, there may be a period while players disregard old habits learned under the Dave Lewis system. This team is already leaps and bounds ahead of where they were last year... win or lose, they are fun to watch, and that's all I could ask for.
