I was at the game last night. While it was entertaining, the B's could have easily let that one slip away. I saw alot of old habits from last year in letting the Kings get back in that one.
Stange to follow up what was a total road game in Anaheim with a shootout like that?
Loved waht Kessel's line was doing, and getting a ton of ice time for it. While Lucic seems akward and clumbsy at times he seems to do something on every shift, which I apreciate.
Still not sure why Julien didn't make a goalie change, or at the very least take a time out or do something to change the game when the Kings were coming on late in the second? Again reminded me of Lewis' tenure here.
Finally, I was able to attend a Bruins practice while they were here in So-Cal, and I have to say I think Thomas is a more capable tender at this time than Manny. Hate to think about what that might do to team unity and confidence, but thats my opinion.
Better to work out the kinks in his game down there than have him humiliated and frustrated up here. The more action they see down there the better chance they have at getting their games and confidence back.
