My picks.

1. Habs
2. SJ

I think they could both do a lot of damage.

Yes i know im a hab fan, but to be honest i would never have picked the habs three weeks ago. Lately they have been beating top teams, and thats gota count for something.

As for SJ, 92 points, one behind second place col in the west. Nuff said!

could you imagine a Mon vs SJ final

It will all depend on how the two teams goalies play, Theodore can steal games and getting Kovalev will help alot.

San Jose doest let in many goals and if they keep it up they could do some damage.

Don't count on these two making the finals though.

I think Calgary could make some noise. If Kipprusoff can play the way he has been playing anything can happen. Also I think that Calgary plays the way you must play in playoffs. Lots of speed, lots of hitting and lots of toughness.

I'd be scared of the Habs and more specifically Jose Theodore. In the West, Calgary and Kipper.

Any team with a goalie in freak form. Sometimes it just doesn't matter if you are the much better team if the opposition goalie is red hot. Kipper could be this years Giguere. Theodore has done it before. Those two would be my picks.

Calgary and the last team to get a playoff spot in the West. For some reason I think there's gonna be a lot of strange things happening in the West. As far as I'm concerned..everyone but the Isles is a contender in the East.

In the West the blues could be a handful if they get their **** together. Montreal would be my pick inthe East as well.

Glad to see Habs fans starting 100000 topics about themselves and how they are scary.

Are you trying to instill fear in the other team's fans?

Oh please.. if your GM had a clue, if your players weren't allowed to skip practices at will, weren't all overpaid and had any kind of system to play in, your team probably would have lived up to expectations a bit more don't you think ? I find this NY based hate for Kovalev a bit ridiculous.

the Blues could do some serious damage if Doug Weight got his head out of his ass.

Afraid? Hmmm... no!

Just happy that in attempt to get attention Habs fans didn't list Canadiens as "Contenders".

I honestly think this is the most wide open field for the Stanley Cup in recent memory. I don't really see any clear cut favorite. The elite teams all have their weaknesses. I agree too that there could be some strange things happening in the West. I would not be overly shocked to see Detroit and Colorado to struggle to get out of the first round. I could see Nashville and Calgary causing headaches for elite level teams. If I were to pick a team right now to come out of the West, I would pick Dallas.

And the in the East, you have 7 teams all bunched together, all whom are fairly equally matched. This could be the most unpredictable year for the playoffs. Boston is a very intriguing team. I really like Tampa, but I don't know about their goaltending. Same with Ottawa. Doing playoff pools is not going to be easy this year. If someone can project the final four once the regular season is over, that would be quite an amazing feat.

Amen bro he is fast becoming the most dissapointng player on the roster, relative to what he should be bringing to the table.
