This is going to be a tough tough game. Lets see how our third line looks against the Sharks.

Off-topic - Did anyone see Toews goal last night against the Avalanche. WOW!

Not feeling great about this one. San Jose has been on a weird WLWLWL pattern, and their last game was a loss. They're due.

The worst part is that all of the other Central teams are hot right now. We cant afford to keep losing. Gotta win tonight!

Yeah, we need this one, bad, but I don't see it happening. 5-2 Sharks win.

I also predict a 3 or so goal victory for the Sharks tonight ... just not feeling it ... unless we get an early goal to kinda quiet the crowd and the next two ... our offense is gonna suck this year without Sullivan (I'm not expecting him to play here ever again) Weber (4-5 weeks according to Poile)

GREAT GDT. You have no legitimate excuse for not doing it every time!

Glad to see Klein going tonight-- I think he is a much better fit for a
Weber-less lineup than Koistenen.

Nothing gives me any reason to have hope for tonights game. Teams can't solidify their spot in the post-season this early, but they can sure dig themselves in a pretty deep hole...if injuries hit, we won't have a chance. Right now is the time to put some points on the board and give ourselves some room for error later in the year, when injuries, suspensions, etc. will account for some depleted lineups.

When is Weber going to play again?

He's on my fantasy squad, but there's no one out there to replace him.

Regardless of the result, I would like to see them play solid for 60 minutes tonight. Hopefully they will stay out of the penalty box or it may be another long one.

Sharks will win the cup if they learn how to consistently play 5 on 3 against the rest of the league as often as they do against the Predators.

Good 2 periods from the Preds although they seemed tired near the end of the 2nd. Mason is looking very good again tonight.

I wonder how they look so tired with the time off that they've had.

Have we set an NHL record for giving up the most 5 on 3 chances against one team?

Team building exercises have worn them out. Glad to see someone else is still watching-- I thought I was making the sound of one hand (not) clapping.

Over? It's not over until we say it's over. I know because I've seen the video clip on the jumbotron that says so.

Is the Captain prohibited from shooting the puck on the PP by some obscure NHL rule?

Blahhhhh, They didn't play bad again. Can't really fault the effort. Nabokov was great. This was one game though, to me, it really illustrtated how much offensive talent we really have lost. Even games where we play pretty well like we did these last two games teams like the sharks and ducks that are just plain better, it's gonna be hard to win those games. Bottom line is preds are 2 - 5 and if they don't start winning soon this season may be over before it even gets halfway old. Particually when you consider how well the teams in our division are playing.
