Bring up Bourret. I want to see this kid in a Rangers jersey. He loves to hit and loves to get into peoples faces. He could be a real spark of energy for us.

Never heard that(or I don't remember that), i think he missed training camp because he was nursing an injury. Maybe your thinking of someone else?

He was at training camp but was in the first round of cuts because he was coming off summer knee surgery and was not able to be in top shape because of it.

Avery lite? We could use a little bit of that right now.

Huh? Bourret and Avery are not even close to the same player.

Just because Bourret hits doesnt make him Avery.

He said he loves to hit and get in people's faces...does that remind you of anyone?

I've never seen Bourret play, anyway, so how should I know?

He loves to hit..but he doesn't get in peoples faces. Sure he's got grit and won't back down but by no means is he like Avery who makes it his job to go out and piss people off. He is all about offense, that's what he is concerned about.

Seems to be taking early strides this season in the AHL and like you said hes defensively responsible.

Korpi, Jessiman, and Bourret IMO are not ready for a callup and if they do, they would play 3 minutes. I could see Renney giving Moore 8-10 minutes since he is more ready.

BTW, Moore leads all Pack skaters after 6 games with 7 points.

Always been a fan of Moore and was kinda disappointed he didn't put up any type of real numbers at the pro level, mainly because he was used in a defensive role on the Pack, but he seems to be doing great so far playing an offensive role this season on the top 2 lines.
Moore is probably the best choice IMO but I wonder if the Rangers will switch around their lines less if it's a guy (Byers, Bourret) more use to playing right wing.

Well according to NHL.com, he is out indefinately, but will not require surgery.
I hope Renney can find a way to fix this up.

Hossa-Gomez-Jagr
Dawes-Drury-Shanahan
Prucha-Dubinsky-???
Hollweg-Betts-Orr

Maybe call up Byers or AA
If AAs called up Drury may need to be shifted to LW

Moore was dismissed from training camp pretty early this year which I took to mean he was out of favor? I wouldn't mind seeing him in a few games.

i'd like to see Bourret. Some agressiveness, speed and offensive ability is sure what this team needs at the moment.

i would like to see some of that as well, however a call-up like Bourret might see his minutes minimized..
