Kyle Brodziak

I was going through the Edmonton Ball Hockey league and noticed Kyle Brodziak's name on one of the top scorers... Division 4.... I am wondering if that can be him...

Not likely, that would be a heckuva commute from Moose Jaw just to play ball hockey.

I think it's possible. Georges Laraque played in ball hockey league in Montreal one summer to stay in shape.

Not during the season. Oilercreeper said the stats for Brodziak were last summer's stats. Ball hockey isd usually played in the summer and I know that BG played one summer in MTL.

Hemsky played in the World Roller Hockey Championships (or something like that) over the summer.

Yes, It is the same Kyle Brodziak. He is from Vegreville and the team he plays for is the Pysankas, so it make sense that it is the same guy. The Ball Hockey season runs from April until July, so players from any professional / junior league have plenty of time to play. Some previous players in Ball Hockey Edmonton are Ryan Smyth and Martin Gelinas to name a few.

I remember seeing a Daryl Sydor on the stats pages for the late 80's.

There's a story on Georges at www.edmontonoilers.com right now and in it he talks about the ball hockey league and how he plans to play in Edmonton this summer.

Wow, if he is tough to fight on skates, I would hate to think how tough he would be in running shoes. I sure hope he's not playing in my Division.
