Now, guess who the player is :

6'5 220lbs Center and in the last SIX postseasons he has the following stats:

51 games 3 goals 19 assists 22 points and MINUS 15

Who is that player? And what is happening to him in the playoff? Is he too big for the playoffs?

Cheers
Sundin? Although I think he had more points

Begin won't play, so I guess it will be:

Zednik - Koivu - Kovalev
Dagenais - Ribeiro - Ryder
Bulis - Perreault - Sundstrom
Langdon - Dowd - Ward

Great line-up IMO, the 3rd will be a great shut-down line even with Perreault. Bulis and Sundstrom can score and Yannic will certainly help them.

I'm not sure, but maybe Keith Primeau.

GREAT!!!!!

Good answer. Keith Primeau is the player! It does not mean that is not good in the playoffs but sometime a team can face a hot goalie (JS Giguere is an example) and there is nothing you can do about it.

I would take Primeau iso Perreault don't get me wrong but to conclude that all small players are not playoff caliber players that is wrong.

There's a quote from CJ in this morning's Gazette:
"This lineup gives us three lines capable of scoring," Julien said. "But the main reason we're making changes is because we need Yanic at centre with Joé Juneau and Steve Bégin out of the lineup."

And from Kovalev:
"I'm back where I was for the first game," Kovalev said. "I think what the coach is doing is smart. He's seeing which lines work, which guys go together in certain situations.

The moral is don't read too much into these line combos. This isn't the starting lineup for the playoffs and it's not a reward or demotion for anybody. It just a matter of trying some different things and giving some guys a rest.

I'll need a source before believing THAT.

Bégin is sick and didn't make the trip. He expects to come back for thursday's game against the sens.

This year, we've been successfull with 2 killers offensives lines & 2 shut down lines.
Why trying to change the recipes? I don't get it. Perreault was usefull with Koivu & Zednik, he was on a great streak. Now you change that...Who will play RW, Kovalev or Zednik? I dont think Zednik will be very happy if he play LW.

What we need to do is winning at least 4 of the last 6 games to be red hot for the playoffs! Why fix what isn't broken? I woudn't be surprised if we start losing against BUF & then OTT.
