What a bad day for The Moose

first he gets suspended for that lowblow spear on Martin Strbak, and then Oilers PPV, shows him dancing in his underwear for about 2 minutes. My goodness, I seriously think Soul Train just filed a restraining order on Messier. Here's to hoping, dancing and hockey will never be incorporated ever again.

Yeah I'm pretty much scarred for life

a couple of things about that clip.

1. Charlie Huddy looked 45 even when he was only 30.

2. Only thing worse than Mess dancing was whatever in the shag Barrie Stafford was trying to do.

Now I know why the Oilers hired Billy Moores, Barrie was sick of being the biggest geek.

it was just the two of us who were scarred by this piece of video?

I can almost guarantee that if I was on a Stanley Cup winning team, there would be a tape of me doing the exact same thing out there somewhere.

Me too. However, knowing that didn't stop me from having nightmares for two straight nights.

BTW, does anyone know the name of that horrid song they were dancing to? Sounded like a female vocalist... IMO only "I touch myself" by the Divinyls could've been worse.. lol :p

Jebus, Mess was scary cut back in the day.

That clip was hilarious, albeit extremely disturbing. I don't think I will ever look at the Game 4 winner in 84 the same way again!

That couldn't have been '84 because Simpson was on the team... it had to be 88 or 90. I'm actually pretty sure it was '90 because Anderson's mustache was shaved and I know he did that in his later days with the team.

Oh, I know when it was '90 Cup win all the way!

I was just referring to "the concept of Messier" as we know him, defined by his mighty performance in '84, that will never be the same after seeing that video...
