I'm a fan of the show, Bryn, but WTF was up with putting that moron from "The Ticket" radio on the show this morning? That guy is not interesting, not informed, and not entertaining.

If the idea was for some laughs with our Texan friends, have Jake call the manager of some Dallas sports bar.

If the idea was for some Dallas insight on hockey, why not interview somebody who actually has some insight? One of the knowledgeable writers from the Dallas Morning News. Or somebody from the Stars' play by play crew. Listening to this guy McDowell, I doubt that he could even name 5 Stars after Mike Modano. Even if he does have some hockey knowledge, we'd never know, because the jackass deflects even serious questions with some crap about Starr Jones and the FCC.

In summary, Bryn, the McDowell segment this morning was a waste of about 20 minutes of airtime that could have been devoted to something more interesting, like crickets chirping or dead air. It's your show, of course, and you can invite whoever you want... but please give some consideration to crossing this <s>butthole</s> dude off your contact list.

Hot, Cold, Hot, Cold

Sometimes he's great, sometimes he's not, sometimes he's great, sometimes he's not. Today was a not day. But he's been very entertaining in the past.

BTW...
we seldom have an interview go longer than 12 minutes on the morning show. IF we do? It had better be a show stopper. He was on for 9 minutes today... must have felt longer today though right?

Thanks for the feedback though.

Cheers,
Bryn

You mean... it only seemed like 20 minutes?

That Joke......

That freakin' joke has a life of it's own....
it's been two or three weeks but people still mention it to me when they see me at Oiler games. Too funny.

Here's the joke for you.... if you didn't hear it...

Pirate walks into a bar. He has the ship's steering wheel sticking out of the front of his pants. Bartender says to the pirate... "hey what's with the ships steering wheel sticking out of the front of your pants???"... Pirate says "Arrrrrr, it's driving me nuts."

I actually laughed... but hid it, so that it wouldn't encourage Jake. But I still chuckle at the punchline.
