What you do post, is much appreciated. You and Edge bring alot to the table and it is understood that, at times, you can not divulge information for fear of being discovered. I don't want either of you to get jammed up, just to give us info.
Park #2 - Sometimes and I stated this in another post, emotion and tone are impossible to put in the written word. Emoticons, while handy at times, don't always convey the message.
Please take this constructively but there are times when your written words come out as condesending. I am assuming from your posts, that this is totally unintentional. Unlike Edge, who has been around for as long as I can remember, you started posting around the trade deadline. I have had years to get used to Edge's style of writing, sense of humor, sarcasm etc. But your style of writing, sense of humor, sarcasm are new to me. It will take awhile to get used to it. This is not to put you down by any means, you are extremely informative and I have enjoyed the majority of your posts. But there are times, like when you rip apart someones post section by section, and teach them

the error of their ways, that you are coming across as condensending.
If I have insulted you in any way, shape or form, please accept my sincerest apologies. You are a great NEW addition to the board who appears to have an inside look at a world most of us see only on TV. There will be times that we will agree to disagree but that means we each have our own informed opinion. It is nothing personal.
By the way back to the topic at hand. IMHO Mark Messier is one of the greatest sports captains in the history of all sports. The way he leads sets examples for future sports captains. But it is time for him to retire gracefully, enjoy the accolades and raise his son. Turn the captaincy over to a young blood, who also bleeds Ranger Blue, to lead the team back to respectibility. Stay around the team, in some form, as maybe a consultant, because even retired he has alot to offer. Keep the lines of communication open with the new captain, who can lean on him when necessary. It is like raising a child, eventually you have to let them out on their own, to learn and grow.
Announce your retirement in the next couple of days. Give the fans a chance to honor you before you actually retire. Lets us, the fans, watch you skate for the last time in a real game, to cheer your accomplishments and what you gave the Rangers.
