Our lines for the next game?

Five in a row, eh? What happened to "hard to play against"? Maybe Sim, Norton, Chartrand & Brown can shed some light on that mystery!

Luc/Stumpel/Barney

Perhaps Luc's "leading-scorerness" will be able to influence Stumpel? Hey, it was only a thought! Barney's not afraid to use his body and go through traffic and is, hence, superior to Carter.

Frolov/Army/Klatt

Frolov needs a certain amount of grit on his line to score goals, and that means he shouldn't be skating with Stumpel or Carter.

Avery/Belanger/Lapperierre

Hey, if it ain't broke, why fix it?

Cowan/Pirnes/BROWN

Straka is not back to being Straka. He should sit until he returns. Carter needs to sit just to appease the fans who said it was a bad trade. That, and the one assist in 9 games thing. Plus, Brown is tremendous and will use his grit when the others won't.

I know that sitting Straka AND Carter is a bit extreme, but 5 losses in a row with 6 games remaining calls for drastic measures. And if we don't see any lineup changes for our next loss (oops! I meant "game"), then I can only assume AM doesn't want the Kings to make the post season, as dumb as that sounds.

BTW, Pirnes and Cowan were REALLY good last night, no?

Sorry, but I'm done speculating about line combos. When it comes to putting line combos AM and his staff don't no what there doing what so ever. I love AM and he's doing this to change things, but he's just taken away any offense from this team. He has to change the lines, but I'm so pissed at the way he's screwed up the lines. I think he just tried to hard. He wanted to do something dramatic, but it was doomed from the beginning. I mean I'm sorry, but Frolov shouldn't get the same ice time as Lappy, Avery, Cowan etc. We have 6 games left and all of them are must wins probably. He needs to change these lines totally and I'v had opinions on line combos, but I have a feeling I'm going to be way off. Sorry I made this long...12 points is a lot so the seasons not over just yet.

Pirnes, Cowan and Huet were the only ones to show up last night IMO. I agree, play Barney and Brown. At least they'll give 100% on every shift (and they actually hit). I have not seen either of them take a shift off when given the chance to go out on the ice.

Reunite the Frolov - Pirnes - Barney line. They were effective against Detroit.

yes, i completley agree. cowan had a great game. frolov - pirnes - barney is the line of the future.

another guy that i felt reallt showed up last night and kept his legs moving was straka. i think it was pretty far and away his best game since returning. he really wanted the puck last night.

Anyone besides me feel that Norstrom has not been playing up to scratch lately? I hope he rebounds tonight
