From that list I chose Brodziak with Lynch as a close second.

Two names I'd like to throw into the mix:

Mike Morrison took huge strides this year going from the third guy on the depth chart in the minors to a clear #2 who challenges for #1.

Joe Cullen who just might be Toronto's #1 centre next year (if not Mike Bishai). Joe, as a rookie, has really come out of no where and stepped it up for Toronto after Sarno was dealt away and Bishai was called up to Edmonton.

Does Greene really rank above Woywitka for next year?

Yeah that's true

they might be able to pick up a guy but still I can't wrap my head around the Oilers being able to do that. Instead I'm thinking of Horc-Reasoner-Stoll-York down the middle

Slats picked up Nedved's salary plus we shed a similar pact in Tommy's so even though the Oilers are gonna make money playoffs or playoffs this season we still can't say we've entered into an era where they will spend money down the stretch.

It was a rental but more in the vein of the 2nd round pick then money added.

But yeah we should have some money for next summer and that means Horc moves down to the wing and that really, really creates a logjam on the sides.,

Should be a fun summer of speculation
