Interesting... I don't have any idea what they are using for a basis. I would have thought, for sure, we would have lost some ground in their rankings.

And? I wouldn't use that as justification to move us up. I find it surprising is all. Not that it really matters, we don't even get a cookie or anything for it.

I scratch my head a little as well. However, it's not like anyone in the West is driving forward to take that title in the critical power rankings...
I'm assuming they are just following their system, as willien posted before, at that's where we fit.

I have a feeling(sick desire maybe) that we'll capture that 8th spot and find ourselves staring at the Red Wings in the first round of the playoffs. That could get ugly, especially for the 5,000 Red Wing fans that would be at the Nat.
