BJs will be fired up at home after almost beating us on Saturday night.

We really need this one, which means we might be in for a let down.

This game is going to be in HD! I can't wait to sit down and watch it. We need this win to keep the jackets beaten down, and also to keep our momentum going.

Leclaire in net.

Beech called up from Syracuse. Shelley probably scratched. Peca not playing.

I noticed a channel on DirecTV HD for it also...It's 90-something.

Tonight will probably be a much different game with Leclaire in net. Here's hoping that we can get one early, playing from behind is not going to be a good gameplan tonight.

When Leclaire is in net the team allows like 7 less shots on goal. We'll see what happens.

Should be a good game tonight. I expect it to be more physical. Columbus fans should be fired up tonight so I agree the Preds have to strike early. I say first one to 2 goals wins.

fyi comcast hd for FSN is 247 (Nashville area, I dunno about anywhere else). 207* is versus hd.

edit, 207 not 206

Preds do seeming to be skating harder. I never would have thought Columbus would have come out that flat after Saturday. If anything I was kinda thinking that the Preds would come out flat. Preds better be ready for the storm to hit. This game is going to be a lot higher scoring than I thought.

Erat out-skated Klesla to the puck. Klesla tried to muscle him off the puck. Erat cradled the puck with one arm and held Klesla at bay with the other arm. Erat pushed to the net, LeClaire tried for the poke check and Erat pulled back at the exact right time and roofed it into the net.

That period was more like the pace I thought this game would be. Foote took another stupid penalty there towards the end of the period. Yes that is a questionable call, but he should know better. I would like to see the Preds attack out of the locker room and really put the pressure on them. I have to think the BJ's are going to get one more. Here is to 20 minutes of solid play by the Preds.

Good win for the Preds. Good to see them put together 60 solid minutes. Mason good again. Nice to see he has dug out of his slump with a few solid performances in a row. Of course the D has been better in front of him as well. Points in every game against the division in this stretch. Bring on the 'Hawks on Thursday.

Great game by Nashville. It was a solid game all around too. Very fast paced with alot of heavy forechecking.

Columbus is a different beast this year. They forecheck and press like crazy and are very dangerous around the net.

Fantastic play by Erat in the first to take the lead.

Tight third period play by the team.

We need to carry this momentum forward. These are valuable points.

Gelinas, while not getting it done offensively, is great along the boards. His line had another good night imo.

It's never too early to take a peak at the Panthers. They are currently at 7 wins, 11 losses and 14 points through 18 games. They are currently sitting at approximately the 4th overall pick and within striking distance of first overall as all three teams ahead of them have played fewer games and only have one fewer point. From what I've seen, Vokoun has played well. The rest of the team seems to be letting him down.
