How about some playoffs updates?

I believe the USHL, NAHL and USNTDP are either in right now or about to begin their respective playoffs.

Any news to pass along and some players of note would be nice.

Thanks in advance.

Updates

Tri-City is closing in on the Anderson Cup needing only 4 points to win it. A Storm win tomorrow night combined with a Lancer's loss gives them the cup. However, the Storm & Lancers play 2 more times in Omaha/CB over the next two weekends, so if the Storm don't close it out, it could be very tight at the end. Everyone but Sioux Falls & St. Louis are still in contention to make the playoffs. Both divisions have a tight race going on. In the West, Tri-City, River City, and Sioux City have all clinched playoff spots. In the East, Chicago & Cedar Rapids have clinched spots. Chicago needs 4 more points to win the east division, but Cedar Rapids has been getting ever so close lately and the Steel have been on a slide. So in the west, 1 more spot is open. DesMoines and Lincoln are separated by 3 points with DesMoines having the edge after their shootout win over Sioux City on Wednesday night. But the Bucs & Stars meet in Lincoln on Saturday night for their final encounter of the season. If Lincoln does not win on Saturday, their playoff hopes are pretty much over. In the east, 1 point separates Danville, Waterloo, and Green Bay. Waterloo & Green Bay play each other 2 more times at each others respective arenas. Here are some of the big games this weekend:
Friday:
Lincoln @ Tri-City 7:05
DesMoines@ River City 7:05
Sioux City@ Danville 7:05
Green Bay @ Cedar Rapids 7:05
Sioux Falls @ Waterloo 7:05
St. Louis @ Chicago 7:35

Saturday:
Tri-City @ River City 7:05
DesMoines @ Lincoln 7:05
Sioux City @ St. Louis 7:05
Green Bay @ Waterloo 7:05
Danville @ Chicago 7:05
Sioux Falls @ Cedar Rapids 7:05

Sunday:
River City @ Sioux Falls 6:05
Danville @ St. Louis 6:40

Playoffs

So far this is what the playoffs are looking like:
In the West:
#1Tri-City vs. #4 DesMoines (Lincoln was eliminated on Saturday by DesMoines for the last spot) (Tri-City beat River City on Saturday to clinch the Anderson Cup for the first time ever in their 4 year history. Congrats to the Storm.)
#2 & #3 still up for grabs will be River City vs. Sioux City but both teams are tied right now & seedings have not been determined

In the East:
#1 Chicago vs. #4 (Looks like it will either be Danville or Waterloo)
#2 Cedar Rapids vs. #3 (either Danville or Waterloo)
Note:Green Bay can still get in but it's a long shot.

One More week in the regular season!

Lancerzrule:

Can you also give some updates on the players as well, namely those that are NCAA-bound? It would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Stastny led the USHL in scoring with 77 points followed by teammate Mike Howe with 76. Let me know if you want more info on anyone.

Thanks for the list. However, what I'm looking for is a sort of progress report on as many of these kids as possible. I'm trying to get a feel for what I should be looking for/at when these kids hit the NCAA ranks either this fall or next. So any info would be greatly appreciated. I know that you've watched some of these youngsters already, so I thought you'd be one of the people whose brains I should pick on this topic.
