Doc " It would not go through the Six Hole which is the chest, Once penetrated by Atilla the Hun."

The Doc was saying something about superstitions and Food. Chico followed it up with Yeah, My wife says that i have to stop, she says i talk about it too much.

I think he said that his mom watches the games.. and that his mom told him to tone it down with all the jokes or something to that effect

Taken from the Tampa GDT, "Did Chico just say marty had 8 or 6 great saves, who says 8 or 6?"

And, yes Chico did say that... Clearly Marty did NOT have seven great saves. 8 or 6.

I don't know if he planned it that way, but the way it came out, just wasn't right.
That is just plain awesome.

That's better than Letterman's top 10 material. Chico should write during the strike!

I'll never forget that one game back in 05-06 against the Habs shortly after Elias came back from hepatitis.

"Oh Patrik, you are dominating man!"

I think it is Chico that keeps saying it now - when showing the "Panasonic Digital Replay - Panasonic... ideas for life." He will keeps saying "just a cannonade of a shot"

I get the feeling Doc said it once, and now Chico has fallen in love with it.

Edit* "this one's gonna be a dandy Doc!" (gotta love it when the announcers are 2 of the biggest fans in the arena).

I loved Chico's reaction a few games ago against Pittsburgh after Crosby gets a penalty for intentionally tripping Clarkson: "But let's take a look here and see what happens...Oh, Sid-ney! You know you can't get away with that!"

to elaborate on that some...

"And the bangers for both teams are out on the ice. Doc, you know I love when these guys are out there."

Then he'll go on about how it's a shame they're being pushed out of the game and the soft penalty calls or something.

11/28 vs. Dallas

Chico: "I saw four fingers. It's a double-minor. The Devils will get four minutes..."

Doc: "It's a single."

edit: nice commentary on the Portuguese cuisine.

I liked Chico's telestrator illustration tonight.

"Mike Modano has scored 515 goals in his career but here he gets robbed by Marty..."

Chico: The Devils defence has done a great job of not giving away the puck. Colin White just gave it away there, but he worked really hard to get it back.

Dining out with Doc and Chico:
http://sports.aol.com/fanhouse/2007/11/29/dining-out-with-doc-and-chico/"

Quote:
During a recent Devils' broadcast the pair investigated some of the local fare, a Cuban Sandwich to be precise, from the Havana Restaurant inside the arena. Chico went on and on about the darned thing, as if he was a critic for the Food Network. Maybe he was just really excited to get some free grub. Either way, it got me to thinking; what if these two quit their day jobs for a gig that involved critiquing food on television?

If it doesn't work try the link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=C-IR-KM1UBY
