Thibault after the game...

”We’re looking forward to the rematch. Hopefully I won’t make the same mistakes on Thursday. I can play a lot better.”

He better hope his posts are up to the challenge as well.

IMO it sounded like he had a fairly good game, made a lot of saves, especially against Sully. Although I will say I'm a bit worried about how Chicago will come out on Thursday, but so be it!

If we played the way we did tonight, it won't matter how they come out. We dominated them in pretty much every aspect, give for a few defensive lapses. Overall though, we played hard, skated fast the whole game, thats how we win.

Good win...all lines looked great. Legwand and Orszagh were the 2 players I saw the most on the Jimmy Mac/ Tootoo line. Stevenson should play again in Chicago over the Zman from Minny. Great win. Vokoun needs a leash. ELO/OLE/LEO line were all over the place. Sully had a lot of chances. T-bow made some great saves.

Man, I'm just dragging myself back home from the game (2am) and I'm grinning just as wide as I was after the final buzzer.

What an effort from our guys tonight, and the crowd was awesome.

During the 2nd intermission, I told some folks I hoped Sully didn't score tonight so he'd continue to have that same fire on Thursday.

Win or lose, if we show the effort we did tonight, I'll always be satisfied.

Go Preds!

I think stevenson was ready to at it with him, but luckily mckenzie (I think it was) got him out of it. One other thing I noticed was that during warm-ups mckenzie kept nudging tootoo into the glass and hitting him in the back of the knee with his stick. It was almost like the big brother picking on the little brother. pretty amusing. those two seem to have a good time together.

speaking of tootoo. woah. he put some real hay makers on bell. it was funny when the official grabbed bell because he kept swinging. I don't think he realized it was the ref and thought tootoo was still wearing him out. :

I was overall pleased with the effort. I think eaton and hammer both played a solid game and while hnidy's game wasn't as solid, he brings a good physical presence and still gets the nod over bomber IMO. Before the game I told my sister I was hoping that zhotlok and bomber were scratched. I think trotz should stick to that.

One more thing. Vokoun played an overall great game, but he needs a bungee chord to make him stay in that crease. That goal didn't really matter, but it was one GA he didn't need. Good thing the game wasn't closer.

McKenzie has come in to defend Tootoo a lot this year. I think McKenzie is a must have if your going to play teams with enforcers, and play Tootoo.

See Calgary a week or so ago
