Could this be fate? Could Brian Leetch break another long cup drought? Losing Nolan is tough but could the Leafs be the "semi-cindarella" story of the playoffs? Its not too far fetched to predict that Sundin could heat up, Almo could start tearing it up and score close to a goal a game, Tucker and Roberts could be the ultimate pest... one that scores too, Domi the ultimate tough guy, Francis, Reichel, Nieuwendyk, Fitzgerald, and Johanson are a very reliable veterns and leaders, and Belfour's back holds up. But the biggest and most likely improvement will be the defense for the leafs... Kaberle heats up, average defensivly, #2 offensive guy to Leetch, McCabe is nasty and puts up a few points, Marchement just plays like the punk he is and not do anything too stupid, Berg and Johanson just don't do anything stupid and play smart, and of course Leetch... is the center point of the attack every second he's on the ice (which is like half the game) and wins the Conn Smythe because how much the Leafs dominated every time he was on the ice.
Leetch rocks. I never realized how good he was until he came here, like I totally understand why NYR fans were depressed over him leaving. He's amazing. I think we have him for another year though, if no lockout.
