At this point we have to do one of two things to top Edmonton
-Win 1 of the remaining 3 (tiebreaker of most wins)
-Tie 2 of the remaining 3 (tiebreaker of head-to-head)
We should beat Chicago. SHOULD beat them. That puts us back in.
If Edmonton ties Vancouver we need to:
-Win 1 and tie 1 of the remaining 3 (tie breaker of most wins)
-Tie remaining 3 (tiebreaker of head-to-head)
Colorado isn't playing particularly well and we're playing StL at home. We should get at least a point here
If Edmonton beats Vancouver we need to:
-Win 2 (tiebreaker of most wins)
-Win 1 and tie 2 (tiebreaker of head-to-head)
This is where it gets dicey.
Then There is St Louis. While their remaining schedule is tougher they do have two points on us with the same number of games. Without beating them I don't see the Preds taking them out. But if we do beat them we stand a good chance of ending up above them as they have to take Detroit down in one of their last three.
FINAL ANALYSIS: ALL OPTIONS REALISTICALLY POSSIBLE (DARE I SAY PROBABLE?)
