Wow. What a game! What a city! And, more importantly, all the people that I met in Ottawa - thank you for your hospitality and most definitely your hockey talk. That was absolutely wonderful.

I am certainly planning another trip to beautiful Ottawa.
I thought I saw a bit more Predators fans then usual at away games. I've love to go up there for a game sometime!

I read your recap on NP.com. Sounds like you had a great time.

well Mason has really let us down tonight with those first 2 goals.

Im still optimistic that we might be able to come back the way this game is going.

Quite possibly the best comeback in Predators history. The 4-3 win in Detroit in 2003 may have been better, but 3 goals in the final 9 minutes is incredible.

Not to take anything from the Preds tonight but that's not the real Canadiens you saw tonight, they are capable of much better, especially on the PP, but we're on our usual december slump.

Good comeback, at least we got a point out of it.

Anybody want to get a few chuckles and grins....go spend a half and hour on the Habs GDT....start about page 8......cockiness and sh|ttalking to utter mass homicidal and suicidal ideations of Jim Jones magnitude.......

This team has character....something last year's team didn't have.

Bonk with the proverbial finger to all of Hab nation.....doesn't get much better than that.....

Okay, and the "real" Chris Mason doesn't hand you an easy 2-0 lead after the Preds hit post after post in the first.

So sick of teams writing losses off as by-products of bad efforts, rather than just admitting they got flat-out outplayed by a good team.

I specifically stated "Not to take anything from the Preds tonight", and if we were flat-out beaten by a better team, i would be the first the admit it, but you see, tonight bad effort was part of our loss.
sheesh for a moderator you sure dont hold back from stirring things up.

My GDT is bigger than your GDT??? You know it's a good night when fans of the other team are reduced to taunting over GDT length. Good luck next time with a shorter GDT and a win.

most people post in the GDT over at nashvillepredators.com, but if laughing at GDT size counts as a moral victory.

And qualifying your statement by saying, "not to take anything from nashville" doesn't hold up when it's followed by "but the only reason you won is because we didn't play like we normally do"

That's like saying "Not to take anything away from Nashville--but...I'm taking everything away from Nashville."

montreal has another central division team to compete with next and i think the D will tighten up, it will need to because detroit have a lot of weapons (wings have only won the division 6 years in a row, but this year is shaping up to be more of a challenge for them)

so the comeback wasn't a huge shocker to me

to compare the montreal and nashville fanbase, and use it against you guys, is silly

an arena that sells out even when the team is crap compared to a city where there has been widely publicized ownership troubles

kind of a low blow

i didnt even say this, and you make it sound like i said my initial statement in an arrogant fashion. my intent was simply to tell you that my team did not play like we know they are capable of, nowhere did i use it to justify the loss. if you saw any underlying statements in there, well there isnt any.

Just when you thought HFBoards couldn't get any lower...

Now I've seen it all.

This isn't the only place where Predators fans talk hockey.

We've almost always had GDTs and usually they are alot better then alot of teams' GDTs.

Especially ones where its 20+ pages of one liners like the following:

'lol'
'omg!'
'bad call'
'we sukk!'
'lol country music!'.

Not to take anything way from the Habs tonight but that's not the real Predators you saw tonight, they are capable of starting out much better and not gift wrapping two goals for the other team.

Luckily, even with the team starting off bad, they more then made up for it in the third period.

i would make a nice GDT(really check out the previous ones), but we tend to have longer winning streaks when i don't. so quoting bull duram, never f$ck with a winning streak.

and a few more:

You just got lesson number one: don't think; it can only hurt the ball club.

Come on, 'rook, show us that million-dollar arm. 'Cause I got; oh yeah, I got a good idea about that five-cent head of yours.

Skip: You guys. You lollygag the ball around the infield. You lollygag your way down to first. You lollygag in and out of the dugout. You know what that makes you? Larry!
Larry: Lollygaggers!

Oh man now i'm really hating you guys now....and Bonk....but thats how it goes in hockey world. Its too bad for us that Bonk was set on a 2 year deal. If he had been cool for 1 year I think you guys never would have got him. You guys are going Bonk - ers this year!

It's attitudes like this that has ran off most of the Predators fans from here.

Besides, it was Saturday night, most of us have a social life. Glad to see you and your pc are still together, hope you enjoyed the game.....
