The selections or the tournament?

The US selections were announced during the Detroit-Montreal game tonight on VS. The Canadian selection camp roster was announced via press release.

The tournament is usually carried by TSN in Canada and NHL Center Ice typically carries the US games via the TSN feed. To view it online, I remember from last year that you needed a Canadian IP address to view the live feed.

Here's hoping that the NHL Network picks up the games...although being a DISH subscriber, I don't get the NHL Network unless I upgrade to DISH HD. Thankfully, my uncle gets the NHL Network and he is typically out of town so I can sneak over to his house and watch the games in HD.

BTW, with Jeremy Smith being one of the top ranked goalies in the OHL this season and Joe Palmer struggling with Miami of Ohio...I think we will see a lot of Smith in this tournament.

Nick Spaling was at the NSH/TOR game. Someone interviewed him during a TV timeout. I didn't hear all that he was saying but they talked about his season so far. And the guy wished him good luck and said they hoped to see him on the ice for the National Team.
