Yeah Minnesota plays the type of game that could kill St Louis - get an early goal, good goaltending and trap 'em to death. Minni is playing well, is at home and will be rested. They would also probably be up for an opportunity to end the Blues record playoff streak. Plus this is the second half of a B2B on the road for the Blues with the first half being a super-intense game in Nashville. Lots of negatives for the Blues so that loss to Detroit at home yesterday could end up being very very costly.

I'm rooting for Nashville on Saturday.

Yup If we don't make that assumption then the numbers don't look so nice.

Oilers/Canucks should be almost exactly even odds on Saturday ... but I just have a good feeling about that game.

If the Preds win Saturday i'll be focusing all my energy and mojo on the Oilers to win Saturday night, then change the focus to Minny on Sunday

And it's on CBC! It would be a fitting victory!

All right, so suppose the following happens:

St Louis: T, W
Nashville: T, T
Oil: W

St. Louis 82 39 29 12 2 92
Nashville 82 37 28 13 4 91
Edmonton 82 37 28 12 5 91

Whow would get in? Basically I'm asking what the second tie break criteria is?

Nashville is in, because they won the season series against the Oil. (The tie-break after that would be Goals Against.)
