It's more like Moser isn't fond of Sioux fans.

Moser has had issues with a few different WCHA fan bases.

I was thinking I haven't been to a DU game in a couple of years. I think I'm going to go to the Denver Cup this year. I've been missing out.

For those who haven't read it, Mike Chambers has some nice stuff in his blog on various topics, including the recently completed DU-CC series, Bachman recruiting tidbits, etc.

Mannino was splendid tonight, but a solid defensive effort for the Pioneers against NoDak.

OSU beating Michigan tonight at Yost is a huge shocker.

Agreed. But also gotta tip the hat to two other DU guys as well:

Tyler Bozak - this kid just keeps getting better. Made the perfect tip on Butler's shot on the only goal of the game.

Patrick Mullen - He's settling in nicely on the blueline and though he didn't get any points, he made at least two great defensive plays, one of which helped save a goal. A great, individual defensive effort that may have gotten overshadowed a bit, but I'm here to make sure that it doesn't.

Tigers should have destroyed the Seawolves but I can't complain with a 1-0 shutout with the back-up. Rau ftw

Yup, Patty's completely made the transition to D. I never thought I'd see this type of defensive play from Denver with Fast and Seabrook gone. These guys have really made a dedicated effort to D and Mannino looks like the player from his freshman year.

It was great to be able to follow the DVR'ed Avs loss with a DVR'ed DU win. Terrific win to keep the Sioux off the board. Great goaltending at both ends as well. And I'm slowly learning how to spell Ruegsegger's name.

Next you'll learn how to spell Rakhshani

Well earned win by the Sioux tonight. The Denver PP was atrocious. NoDak had at least a half dozen odd man rushes on the Pios PP opportunities, including a 2 on 0 in which they scored. Is it just me, or was the entire population of Grand Forks in Denver tonight? Well I guess I'd rather live in Colorado too

Assuming CC wins tonight, Denver will probably drop to 4th in the country. Hopefully Denver can find their PP on the road.

Is it just me, or does the DU PP seem to bog down with tight passes high in the zone that produce nothing? They don't even force any movement from the PKers when they do this.

I noticed that. There is also a bit of reluctance to get shots on net from the point, but I'll give some credit to the Sioux who did a good job blocking some of the Denver shooting lanes. They really frustrated the Pioneers tonight.

It seems like Robbie Bina has played forever...that dude must be 40 by now

And TJ Oshie can sign with the St Louis Blues already

What? No DU wins chat from earlier tonight? You're all letting me down here.

The game was fun to watch and a good win for DU over the Huskies. NHC isn't exactly the easiest barn to play in. Once again, Mannino was a stud in goal. Two DU players who really impressed me in this game were Kyle Ostrow and Tom May. Both played really well and made some really nice defensive plays in the third to help preserve the win.

BTW, why hasn't anyone started the "Mannino for Hobey" chant yet? The Michigan folks have already started it for Porter, the UND fans for Lamoureux and even the Gophers fans have started it for Wheeler. So you guys have to get with the plan!

Hold your horses there tough guy.

The "Chad Rau for Hobey" chant needs to get started too.

...or if you prefer, "Richard Bachman for Hobey", but frankly I think Chad has a better shot at it.
