New to Graf...help

I'm switching from Vapor XXX's( my 3rd pair) to Graf's. Im sick of having them break down and lose their feel after half a season. I've tryed out the G5's( and liked them) and i've been told that the G3's are better. Just looking too see some opinions.

Every Graf model fits a different type of foot. The 735/G35 are the two that are supposed to fit the most like the XXX's.

modsquadhockey.com is the place you wanna go to read up on it.

With Graf it's not a case of which skate is better, as the each series are made the same way bar the looks and fit. The first number or letter indicates the level and the last number indicates the fit. So, a Graf 703 would be a high level skate for narrow feet and lower insteps, whereas a Graf 609 would be an intermediate skate for people with high insteps and arches. The X05 models are for intermediate insteps and arches. As the above poster said check out that site, they offered great advice and I got my Graf 709's beacuse of them.

Just be aware that Grafs have a pronounced forward pitch and you will feel more "on your toes". It will be quite a switch from Bauer where you are back on your heels. as the above posters stated, modsquad is the place to ask your questions. My son loved the Graf G5's. They are similar to the 705's which are said to be a skate that fits 70% of people that try them. They are very low cut and you will have a lot of 'freedom" in the ankle if you like that.
