Blues Prospects at U20 Evaluation Camp

Click the links below to check out how some Blues Prospects are doing at the U20 Evaluation camp. Two U.S. teams are playing the Swedes and Finns in exhibition games in Lake Placid...notice names like Fairchild, Cole, Palushaj, Berglund, etc.

Sounds like Palushaj is impressing a few folks!

Nice....

Sounds like several of the Blues' prospects are getting noticed up there.

RE: The game with Finland in which Joonas Kemppainen scored twice. I think the Blues, and everyone else, passed on a fairly solid prospect by skipping this kid. It may be that he indicated he wasn't interested in leaving Finland, or whatever, but I would expect him to draw some interest in next year's draft, for which he will still be eligible.

It seems like the Finnish hockey establishment isn't real high on him either. Thought he was the top forward at the Young Lions tournament a few years ago but he barely got a sniff with the national team and even now appears to be just a third-liner. From what I understand the expectations for him at Assat were very high and he's kind of leveled off. Still, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for him.
