What the paper says might have some good things but they forget the essential: THE EMOTION.

This team (is this is really a team btw?) needs a “séance de défoulement” that we say in french. They need every player to break their stick on a wall while screeeaming loud in fury. This is what they need. They played timidely last game, they had hangups, they played like scary little girls. If Koivu can't get THE Emotion out of his team, then Bégin should wear the “C”. Habs can kick the ******** Bwoouins @ss. If they don't, they have nothing to do in this buziness

I like what you said and your right but there is one word missing, or I haven't seen through all of this and that word is......desire. This team is playing like they don't want to win. Its as simple as that. They look like they'd rather be golfing than playing hockey. This team has proven throughout the year that they can skate and play with ANY team in the league. Now it's just a matter of wanting to win.

I will start thinking about this idea of Euro players not having the same desire of winning the Cup as Canadians players. Where is the desire of euro players? The season is over, they have no paycheck now, euros think about leaving to Europe back in their family, NA players plays for their honnor and pride. The ultimate Cup for Euros is the Moundial Soccer, the ultimate Cup for Canadians is the Stanley Cup. I know this is an old narrow idea but I will start thinking that way if Euros Habs play poorly like last game.

The Habs dressed 7 players in the first game with zero games of playoff experience. (That's counting Garon, but also includes our entire second line.) For the record it's Garon, Ryder, Ribeiro, Dagenais, Begin, Ward, and Bouillon. So playoff jitters could account for the terrible first period, but we actually outshot the B's 22-16 over the final two frames, and 14-5 in the third period. They played better as the game went on, and should build on that for this match.

Gotta get the special teams working...

Some PO rookies were the best players : Ryder, Ribeiro, Dagenais and Begin. Only rookies Ward and Bouillon were disapointment. What was the biggest disapointment was the vets lack of effort, emotion, finishing touch and speed.
