Draft in Carolina

Having gotten to attend last year's draft, I am thinking of taking the short trip over the Smokies into one of my favorite states of NC for this years draft. A few questions for the Canes fans are the tickets free like last year? What is the excitement level in Carolina? Last year it was all we Preds fans were talking about late in the season. Thank you. Go Preds

yes, the tickets are free this year. The excitement level is prety high here, so I'd expect a prety big turnout.

If the tickets are free, why were they included in with the season tickets? Anyway it should be a fun afternoon.

We went through this once before, but for clarity ...

Season Ticket Holders for the Hurricanes received two tickets to each draft session int he season ticket books. Those tix will get you into a special public seating area in the lower bowl of the arena during the draft. General Admission seating is free, but it's also on the club level and in the upper deck.

So ... if you can find a Canes STH here or elsewhere that will let you have a ticket, then it might be worth it to be closer to the action ... allowing for the general lack of actual action in these sorts of affairs.

Question: If I decide to drive from Florida where can I acquire these tickets?
