A Suggestion--Please Read Boys

After a big win tonight (so nice to see the sens we love back) I beg of everyone to stay humble and keep our egos in check. The reason is that bragging too much always leads to bad karma. Be gracious winners and keep civil and hope we can keep this momentum going. GO SENS GO!!

I'm not gonna go on the Leaf board..I'm sure they'll be complaining about the refs and stuff still. Well earned win and we answered all the critics...huge momentum shift going into game 2...if the Sens win that one, imo the series is as good as done.

Have to agree. I think pretty much everyone on the board (well the regulars anyway) don't brag that much - well not that I've seen

no reason to get cocky, we know well that winning the first game leads to nothing. losing to the flyers in game 1, 2 years ago. losing to the isles in game 1 last year. beaitng the leafs in game 1, 2 years ago, beating the devils in game 1 last year. you get the picture.

Not yet dude, I remember when we had two games in hand to finish off the leafs and what happend...we lost.

Still way to early to think we are gonna win this series.

That's true..I guess I was a little happy they won the way they did tonight Still, a 2-0 lead would be huge. Definately possible to come back from...but with the Sens going back to home ice (which should be mainly Sens fans this time) it'll be awfully tough for the Leafs to do it.

Anyways, good effort tonight...let's hope they can do this again on Saturday.

I'm soooo happy we started off tonight on the right track. I'll enjoy it. But it's back to business again tomorrow. Still 3 more to go.

Well I'm a girl, but sure, I can show some class.

No bragging to the Leafs tonight. It's only one game and hopefully the Sens will be ready for the next one too. Good win but looking at the big picture, not a huge deal.

Gloating is for a-holes and that's all we've heard for 4 years now. Means nothing until all is said and done.

But...when it is all said and done and Ottawa is victorious, it will be sweet and the Leafs Nation exodus from the capital will be swift and wonderful I thought there was a very good possibility that this is what we would see tonight and it bodes well for Ottawa...too much pressure on the Leafs and in all honesty, they're are not as good as everyone plays them out to be. Nolan, Klee and Tucker are not just depth players and that will hurt them the longer they are missing...

just like you guys beat us tonight like everyone predicted right? I know it was somewhat of a joke but it makes me quite glad when Leaf fans underestimate the Sens, as they did tonight. And it seems they're doing the same for Saturday.

Thank you Senators!

Yesterday was a really horrible day for me and the worst thing was that my favorite soccer team played an aweful game and lost in the last minute. Well, that's said!

I was confident that the Sens take Game One, after I saw the soccer game.

Well, I'm not into so much trash talking and all the other crap, therefore I say it's step 1 of 4.

Let's Go Senators.

Apology accepted. Anything for a Sens fan.

I've been a good girl so far -- haven't invaded the Leafs msgboard yet.

To quote Bob McKenzie we have to "beat up the bully on the way to school". Until the series is won, there's no feeling safe.
