I'd take him over Holik anyday of the week. At least if we bring Lindros back it will be upstairs.

Checking Center is not the position of concern for this team.

Lack of secondary scoring, crease clearing d-man. A Coach who preaches accountability, then ENFORCES it. Those are the needs of this squad.

Terrible idea, lets reintroduce one of the "key players" from one of the worst stretches of hockey in Rangers history. Yeah thatll get them out of the funk.

No thanks.

I agree, but the way the Rangers handled Holik the first time around they tried to make him an offensive center, even though he is far from it. Thats the Rangers for you.

That's exactly right. No need for Holik, as someone also said he would not be an upgrade over any of our current 4 centers.

He'd certainly be an upgrade over Betts.

But not for the price.

But to say he's not a better player than Betts is simply not true.

Yes thats true, although is Holik ok with being a 4th line center? I dont follow Atlanta closly so I dont know what line he is on. Also, Betts work ethic and PK value are really high, Im really not sure if I would want to bring Holik back. In my opinion, Betts is really an ideal 4th line center.

He goes between the 3rd and 4th lines.

You guys can take Holik for a bag of pucks and Malik's jockstrap. Just please, get him as far away from Atlanta as possible.

We keep Malik's jockstrap and we call it a deal, ok?

Speaking of Rangers during the dark era, I heard Boris Mironov was looking for work.

Bobo never was really that bad. I actually liked him for the most part. He wore out his welcome towards the end, but I hold no ill will towards Bobo. He was a good soldier for the most part.

Oh I get it! This thread was just a touch of humor to take our minds off some of the miserable play we've had to endure the last couple games. Hahahaha, good job OP, good job!

This was a joke, right?
