Exactly, it's funny how Ol Dirty blasts Colorado for having no tradition and cites Rock & Roll Part II as an example, even though the Rockies first used Gary Glitter's song and the Avs have always used it after goals.

About the techno music at the Pepsi Center, it's usually played early in the game. Whoever controls the music seems to have a certain schedule that he/she plays every game. Mountain Song by Jane's Addiction (Coming down the mountain.....) is always played after the first stoppage of the first period. Cotton Eyed Joe is always played about midway through the second period. There's other songs that have a set time to be played. For the most part they play rock, not techno.

None of it matters anyway, Manon Rheaume and Britney Spears could sing She Bangs naked at center ice and Ol Dirty would complain just 'cause it's Colorado.

The Pepsi Center's identity is playing different songs, if anything, other arenas should get new music instead of playing the same old song every game, especially New Jersey's organ...

Never seen an Oiler playoff game? I was at Game 3 last year and had a headache for a week. No offense, but Edmonton's playoff atmosphere is generally reguarded as the best. Can't wait to see Calgary's though, it's going to be nuts.

I don't care what kind of music Colorado plays as long as the fans are into it, and they are. Go Av's!

Best atmosphere ? That would have to be a tie between the ACC and GM Place.

The crowd sang the anthem.

Everybody had towel power.

The place was just L O U D.

my friend, I wish the 'Couv the best luck in the playoffs, but as far as playoff atmosphere goes, you can NOT top Edmonton. (And I say that with the credibility of someone who has never seen a live playoff game in another team's barn )

Indeed. Ol' Dirty is making a very pointless argument. For goodness sake buddy, it's not a big deal.

wtf is wrong with you people. Trance is the music of the 21 century. Funny how some people still live in the 70s or 80s today. Dancing to trance is the best thing i know.

Rave = 90s Trance = 2000+

I've heard a lot of debate on these boards over various issues but this has to be one of the worst.
