Typical New York slump,

but the thing is I see the Rangers playing a better 2nd half than the Islanders.

Agreed, thought it was funny too. People just gotta get all defensive because you're an Isles fan when you're not even saying anything directed negatively at the Rangers.

I wouldnt even call it a hill, more like a flippin speed bump.
Any of our teams that go on even a modest 3 game streak (which we have all done) could potentially be sitting on top of the division in a week or so. Its crazy.

Just think of how nuts all those division games at the end of the season are going to be!!!

It is a speedbump...

although two teams seem to be pulling away from the pack while the other three are trying to pull away in the opposite direction. The Isles especially have had chances to jump ahead of the Rangers as a result of one point in their last four games. Good news for both teams is that mediocrity will get you into a playoff spot as evidenced by the fact that a 20w, 22L Islanders team is in a playoff position today and the Rangers can be in it tomorrow with a win over the Flyers and a 21w, 22L record.

i just pray to god that avery and straka get better soon. we need them, badly. And i hope lumpy gets over his dads brain surgery thing soon. He's fine, so i dont know why he is worrying about it during games.

The way this conference is going - Staying hot is key - 4 - 6 losses in a row and your out of it 4-6 wins in a row and you jump up 2 - 4 spots.

I said it 2 weeks ago, you really have to stay away form the slumps.

They need to stop the bleeding ASAP.

Fun facts:

From 9th place to 2nd place: 6 points
From 14th place to 8th place: 6 points

don't forget that every team not in the southeast has a game or two in hand on us. Unfortunately they are the ones who are ahead of us as well. We actually aren't as close as it appears in the conference. We are more like 2 points back from 8th, and 3 from 7th. 8 points to get to 2nd. Flyers could actually get a 7pt lead on us until we have the same amount of games played.

Aside from the most offensively inept guy on the team scoring his only two goals of the season what a waste

six unanswered goals at home?!!!

Send a message via AIM to mnorman1
October = Flyers, November = Rangers, December = Devils, January = Penguins.

Can't any of these teams stay consistent?

I prefer to call it 5th place instead of last place.

that sounds better until you say
"The rangers are 5th"
and someone asks "out of?"
and you reply "5"

Then it dosnt sound too good
