I was puzzled by the "de-fense" thing also. I know they want to get the crowd into it using different things, but that's a football crowd mechanism, frankly.

Interesting, isn't it, how physical they've played after being called out by the media for being "soft"? Methot, Klesla, Novo, Foote, Hejda, and Boll were pounding people! Even Hainsey had some hits along the wall! And, at one point, we had 25 hits and Nash was credited with five! Nikki and Vybes were very aggressive on the forecheck, too, and that plays into the physical game, as well. The last two games have been "October Jackets" and I'm sure we're all glad to see that team return!

Go Jackets!!!!
Kinda reminds me of the old Toledo Sports Arena, the folks in the top row would bang on the advertising signs mounted on the wall, and just make a metric ****ton of noise. It was awesome.

If you never saw a Storm game at the old TSA, you missed out. It was a god-awful building, but inside the place, it was like Slap Shot come to life.

In response to our Hansen Brothers Drumline. I believe they did that two or three times qt the end of the game. Each time was during a key defensive zone face-off. So I think in that situation it was releveant. I also believe we won each of the faceoffs which also helps.

DEFENSE is just not something that is chanted at a hockey game.

Please save this chant for basketball games

The only things I can remember missing a players birthdays/ birth places and of course the incorrect questions.

I've made about 40 questions, but only 16 of them have been used, the others have been deemed too hard. They require you to send a source along with it.

I really don't want to be overly critical, but I noticed that the efforts of the arena people to get the crowd pumped were off a little last night. They did the "On Your Feet" / "Make Some Noise" cheer-leading just as they were going to commercial before the OT. So even if the crowd got going, they would have to keep it up for 3-4 minutes before the puck dropped.

I'd still love to see some fyfes added to the drum line. That would be unique & fun. Still, the drums alone were great. If they could come up with a 5-7 second riff that leads into a "Let's Go.....Jackets" Something like: rat-a-tat-a-tat-a-tat-tat-tat-etc...Let's Go...boom-a-boom...Jackets. Seems like there is some great possibilities there.

I couldn't believe that there were still people sitting going into the shootout. Z is unstoppable. Nash seems to be very stoppable. (Not sure why. Seems like he can do it for Team Canada) Does anyone ever stop dead from 20 feet and crank off a slap shot instead of taking it all the way in? Some of the d-men have cannon shots.

IM, I know Rolston stops at the hashmarks and slaps it in, I think a few other players do it too.

I was under the impression that a shooter must maintain forward motion in a shootout......
