GDT: 1/16 Rangers vs Sabres @ MSG 7PM

VS.

Local Home: MSG 2

Local Away: MSG

Buffalo (19-18-6), which enters this matchup having lost a club-record nine straight.

This is the first meeting between these teams since the Sabres eliminated the Rangers in six games in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

The Rangers just need to KEEP IT SIMPLE and get back to the disciplined hockey they are capable of playing.

I'm going to have to request you post "The Winning Message" again (From the Habs GDT and I called certain victory).

Oh boy, first game this season against the new-look Sabres. And I will be there.

You'd like to think that we can get them when they are a little bit down and come out with a win going into the Boston home-and-home.

But probably not. Sabres avenge the city of Buffalo after the Giants beat the Bills last month. I'm gonna say 8-4 Sabres. Vanek scores 4.

I'm going to say 3-0 Rangers. Lundqvuist with the shutout. Goals from Rosival(PP), Jagr(PP), Straka (SH).

The chariot is one of the most complex cards to define. On its most basic level, it implies war, a struggle, and an eventual, hard-won victory.

Either over enemies, obstacles, nature, the beasts inside you, or to just get what you want.

It is a union of opposites, like the black and white steeds. They pull in different directions, but must be (and can be!) made to go together in one direction.

Control is required over opposing emotions, wants, needs, people, circumstances; bring them together and give them a single direction, your direction.

Confidence is also needed and, most especially, motivation.

The Chariot can, in fact, indicate new motivation or inspiration, which gets a stagnant situation moving again.

If I'm home for the game, I'll listen to it through the internet. It's the only way I'm going to be able to find out what happens. If I'm not (and I don't know what's in the plan for tonight), I'll find out what happens when I get home.

Even if I'm not getting cell phone updates, I'm hoping for consistent good play. The penalty parade has to stop. Two games was just downright horrible. Unless all of the wrongs go right, Buffalo's going to snap a mean losing streak.

My fingers are crossed. Hope to find that something gets righted here. (And I hope it's not on the other side of the spectrum.)

GO RANGERS. I don't say it often, but the end result better be two points.

watch the rangers stop that streak and lose 1-0 but i still think 3-0 Drury hat trick. Rangers usually stop losing streaks of teams.

off the top of my head:
Atlanta 6 game losing streak we snapped.
Tampa 7 game losing streak we snapped
Buffalo currently on a 9 game skid.

rangers come out strong in this one.

despite me killing them on my site for their play, i think for at least 1 game, they come out with a vengeance.

Rangers 8, Buffalo 2
