On Renney's Rangers, there are no consequences for breaches in discipline. There are no consequences for failure to follow the game plan. No one misses a shift. No one is benched. No one is reprimanded in team meetings.
just posted this on Sabres GDT, fits here as well tho lol......
5-1 Sabres, Rangers make Miller look to be the best goalie to ever play in the universe by taking 96 shots from outside. Miller is given the Vezina after the game only to have it stripped when the Boston Bruins come to town and Tim Thomas records a shutout on 129 saves. After the game Renney states "Well I told the guys keep shooting the puck from everywhere, directly into the goalies chest and eventually a hole will appear in his stomach and we will score lots and lots of goals. They did not get enough shots and we executed poorly. We need to generate 150+ shots next game"
Avery-Betts-Hossa should be our checking line instead of HBO. I like Hollweg. At least he can skate and hit but Orr's value diminishes continually. He deserves either 4th line minutes or no minutes.
How is Orr not a valuable option to this team?
Fighting the top heavies and protecting smaller fowards has no value?
Hitting and forecheck means nothing?
Hossa taking very stupid offense zone penalities is ok?
his hands are worse then Orr's
