Bruins in need of a hero....

Tonight's the night. The Bruins need someone to step up, carry his teammates on his back and win this damn game. If we score one goal, Raycroft needs a shutout. If we are trailing 2-1 in the third, Murray needs to tie it. If we go to overtime, we need Sammy to win it. Now is the time for Joe to put his head down, and his ribs in the back of his mind, and create havoc. Now is the time for Gonchar to get a couple of primary assists on the powerplay. Now is the time for Rolston or Axelsson to get a shorthander. Now is the time for Lapointe to break a Habs will. Championship teams know how to go up 3games to 1, in a hostile environment. We need to get it done. We need a new hero. We need some new memories.

Go B's....

My prediction: it will be a combo of Gonchar and Thornton tonight. Bruins 4 - Les Habitants 2.

I hope you're right about Axe.. that giveaway in game 3 almost cost us a goal. I like him, and it would be a huge goal for him and the team

I have a strange feeling that Travis Green will have a huge game tonight.

Wally: That strange feeling is probably just gas.

Seriously though, good call - Green has been a thorn in the side of the Canadiens all series and he still has a nose for the net.

I'm going to say the 18 year old burns his childhood nemesis tonight with the GWG.

Again.

As I posted in the GDT in the Playoff board, my prediction is:
Samsonov wins it in OT when he gets a penalty shot after Ribeiro fakes a seizure in front of the net.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say LaPointe. I really think that although he only has 1 assist so far he has been one of our better players . This is the Martin LaPointe the Bruins thought they were getting when they signed him away
from Detroit. Plus I think the whole Ribiero " My God - he's been shot " episode will
make LaPointe turn it up one more notch. I predict a goal, an assist plus a fight for Martin " I want a 3rd Ring " LaPointe. I also predict that despite a miraculous
recovery Ribiero does next to nothing for the rest of the series.
