This makes the Kovalev/Kostys thread even more understandable now.
Just couldn't handle him anymore. Traded him to team "ignore". The "I've been watching hockey for 5 years, I am therefore an expert" was the last straw.
On a thread related note, I was pleasantly surprised to see a lucid addition from a Laff's fan. No way Saku is traded mid-season (if at all) and the C is just thrown on to someone else's jersey. Markov is a candidate, but I don't see him as THE guy capable of focusing a whole team on and off the ice. He's a lead by example guy who strikes me as a little quiet for the role. Komi is becoming a more likely candidate than Higgins everyday, but it's waaaaaay too early for him. Hammer has extensive experience, but jumping right onto a team and then into the C. Not likely. Does that leave only Kovalev???
No one else is set to handle the new pressures of those responsibilities AND a playoff race/season. It's best for the team to keep Saku. Unless he is traded for another team's current captain (being comfortable in the leadership position and able to balance those pressures with playoff pressure) who would likely produce at the same level or better than Saku is this season. The chances of this happening? ...

Oh boy....my IQ has been regressed of few points in reading this horrible written post and you gave me some entertainment ,but welcome to my ignore list though.Enjoy your stay.
This was the icing on the cake.I don't understand why HFBoards doesn't officially implement IQ tests before registering,to restrict access to fools like this.

I'm with ya, but before you criticise someone's writing, you should learn how to use adverbs (horrible should be horribly), elipses (...) have three dots, commas come directly after the preceeding word and have a space after them, and periods have one or two spaces after them. Something like this:
"Oh boy... my IQ has regressed a few points after reading this horribly written post,but you gave me some entertainment.Welcome to my ignore list though. Enjoy your stay."

And i have been watching hockey for since i was 5 years old and i'm closing in on 51 years old and i NEVER would say that 'i know what i'm talking about' since i am still learning the game so...

I was well aware of these grammatical errors,unfortunately I can't edit my posts
for unknown reasons(unjustified infractions due to a debate with YaBasta)
Koivu has been Montreal's captain for how long? He has went through cancer, and is still arguably a top 20 center in the league. He has stuck with this team through thick and thin, at least let him stay when the youth begin to flourish on Montreal and the Habs begin to start kicking ass.
