Yeah, Panger said it was nearly a sell out and they showed the crowd and it was 1/3 empty. They must have either been creative with the numbers or a whole load of people didnt show up.

The bottom section always looks like that mostly because those are mostly corporation seats and I suspect most of the time those are seating in some clueless VP's top drawer, even in the finals last year the upper section (where the true fans sit) all the seats were filled but the bottom half there were alot of empty ones unfortunetly thats the seats that everybody sees on TV. It's frustrating knowing someone is wasting those tickets for playoff games.

Same thing at the ACC in Tornto, the bottom rows are usually empty because the bigwigs would rather have a cocktail then watch Hockey...Corporate Tickets should only be sold for boxes or higher level seating...let the die hards pay for good seats and actually sit in them.

It's like seperation of the classes, blue collar workers upstairs white collar downstairs, the place that this is the worse is Madison Square Garden, my Ranger buddies always compain that all you see in the bottom sections are young hot shots in suits and ties who probably couldn't name three Ranger players if you stuck a gun to their head.

Don't worry about it - he'll help later.
But maybe Martin would have been a better choice.

Don't sweat it. One has observed this jibberish about the Devils before.

Round One, its the Devils fans/attendance that get ripped.

Round Two, it's Steven's "dirty" style of play and Brodeur's "overrated" goaltending that gets ripped.

When they win Round Three, its their "boring" style of play.

Typically, the pettiness usually runs out by the time your team is hoisting the Cup in June.
