Or they won't qualify Salo, and go with Aebisher and Sauve.

they arnt going to give Salo the 4 million he need to be qualified for. Sauve and Abby are the goalies unless salo wants to take a huge pay cut.

I'm sure that the LA Kings would be a little bit interested.

Keep Sauve and Aebischer and let Salo trot back to Sweden.

Would they be interested enough to trade Kanko for him?

Now that Abby has established himself as the #1, it doesn't make much sense to hang on to Sauve. They should trade him while he has some value as a potential top goalie. Maybe they can move up in the draft with him?

Probably not, I don't think the Kings will do it. I think that is a pretty fair offer and I kinda like Sauve as a goalie prospect but I don't see it happening right now. It's kind of funny, like Sunday I was telling my buddie "Chris Sauve" who is a huge kings fan that the Kings should trade for him. They'd probably rather trade a draft pick than Kanko it would be bad PR to trade another prospect after trading Aulin.

I think you gotta hang onto him, and let him work his value back up again. After his terrible finish, his value is probably lower than it should be. Unless a team still sees good promise in him, and makes a decent offer, the Avs will hang onto him. Salo won't be the hinge factor here, Peter Budaj is. It's kinda like the whole Aebischer or Denis thing that the Avs went through some 3 years ago. It's like, who does Pierre think has the most potential. We'll see.
