The Jersey Tuck

Okay I only found one thread on this and it was old and sucked, so re do.

How many of you tuck your jerseys? Where do you tuck it, and more importantly, why?

Also, if you have, how many times have you been called Jagr, Kovalchuk, etc etc. ?

I recently started because my teams new dresses..err... jerseys are gigantic, and it falls pretty much to my knees. So i tuck it in the back corner to pull it up a bit that way I don't trip and fall. (mostly it just looks stupid on me cause it doesn't fit at all, so this kind of fixes that). Though I always make sure my numbers are visible.

Ready, go.

I tried tucking my right side once for absolutely no reason, and I forgot about it till the game was over and haven't done it since. It is a bit pretentious, in retrospect.

If its for practical purposes then go for it. Like who honestly cares how they were their jersey when they play. People might call you jagr or gretzky but whatever your a big boy you can handle it right.

I tuck the left side...it just feels right...

it was sorta when I was turning the corner from being horrible to being pretty good, and I was playing with bigger players, so they gave me a big jersey. I tucked it in, and played great. Ever since, I always tuck in the left side.

if I put my hippads on after jersey it just happens, and sometimes durring the game it goes in or if I have to pull my hippads up. I dont really mess around with it though, if it happens, it happens.

I tend to do the Jagr tuck.

But that's because I walk around with my pants undone until we leave the room, then I tie them up.

Since I'm extremely tall I get jerseys that are too big so that they are long enough. I was on a breakaway once and caught the nub of my stick in my jersey just enough to throw off the shot, since then the left side of my jersey always gets tucked.

I never tuck, but my jerseys fit well so there's no need. If anything my jerseys are a little tight.

I only tuck when my jerseys are long. When I tuck, I do it on one side, I don't tuck the whole thing up my ass.

OK...so you're not one of those guys we see with no jersey at all...

I always thought they just forgot to put one on and wondered why they skated funny.

Or mine on Yellow laces.

I'm sure someone will want to beat you up if you tuck your jersey.
