Bench Lundqvist!

It is time to put Lundqvist on the bench. We need consistent play and big saves to make the playoffs. We need a spark - I have no confidence in Lundqvist at this point and believe Valiquette should be in net for a while. Everyone on this site kisses Lundqvist's but and thinks he is phenominal. The bottom line is that he is playing with no confidence and should sit for more than one game. The King has turned into a Pawn!! Let's hear all of the insults everyone - you can't admit the truth!

Lundqvist is young, talented and a first priority to get signed long term.
don't worry, he will reclaim his throne.

Lundqvist isn't the one you blame when the defense is always giving up 2 or even 3 on 1's! Now enough of these silly threads.

Stupid. He's been great lately including tonight.

Being winless on the road since December 1st is alarming though.

It's still a team effort, and the whole team played poor

Yea play Lariquette!

For someone who doesn't even know who the backup goalie is...your two cents don't mean much.

Not to mention when he makes the first save, the D rarely clear the crease of bodies and those rebounds. Has Henke played stellar, hell no! But is he solely to blame, the answer again is,hell no!

Defense giving up 2 or 3 on 1's - Lundqvist has to make a big save - bottom line!

He has been great lately? Atlanta had hardly any shots on him in 2 games - he didn't play well tonight - you are dreaming.

Dont blame your goalie when your Dmen arent doing their jobs and your offense cant score more than a goal or two.

(And yes I am fully aware that the above post is completely appropriate for the Islanders board as well! The parallels are remarkable, actually.)

You are SO right! Why do we even have defensive players? We should just play with 5 fowards and let Lundqvist make big saves on 2 and 3 on 1's because that's what he's supposed to do! Defense? HA, Henrik SUCKS!
