Debating whether or not Malik served any positive function here is fine. Questioning his effort is often brought up by fans and I think that is ridiculous.

You can't play 10 years in the NHL without tremendous individual effort. You would be drummed right out of the league.

Do you believe that both Sather and Renney think that Malik hasn't been trying since he came here?

If yes, then Sather should be fired for putting up with it.

I'm saying he does not play with the same intensity game in and game out. Wanna fire Sather? Fine with me. Rather see him go than Renney.
