The Habs have not lost on a Thursday since October 18th, 2007, when they lose 4-3 against the Ottawa Senators.
Hopefully the streak continues... We are 10-1 on Thursdays this season.

That's weird...
Last year it was on Tuesdays... we had a 8 or 9 game winning streak on les méchants mardis.
And yet, we're 4-7-1 on Saturdays. I think overall on Saturdays dating back to the mid-90s, we have a below .500 record. Think of how many of our lowest moments came on Saturday not just this year. And playoffs are included. These are what come to mind:
2007: Blowing a must-win final game in Toronto when up 5-3 late in the 2nd. This one is fresh in our minds still.
2006: 8-2 thrashing at the hands of Canes sparks the end of Theo and a near disaster for the season. Saturdays in January-February are grimmer than usual. I believe we also lost Saturday games to Pittsburgh with Theo and Abby choking respectively.
2000: Afternoon game where McLeary gets his throat crushed by slapshot and he nearly dies.
2000: Leafs come in and as typical for the time, whoop us but on our own ice by a 6-1 score. Vigneault and Houle get the ax as a result.
1999: First game at ACC and Toronto wins 3-2 in OT over now hapless Habs.
1995: Roy's final game in which idiot Tremblay leaves him in for 9 goals.
Anyone got some I forgot to mention? Man I hate "Hockey Night in Canada" sometimes and not just for the poor coverage and pro-Leaf agenda. It seems to have been especially painful after Soiree du Hockey was cancelled.
19-3-4 during the week, 6-11-5 during the weekend(Friday included)...ouch!
I can't blame them...I'm not productive at work during the weekend either (Friday included). I'm busy thinking about what bar/club/lounge to hit up...I'm guessing they're the same way
So if we pro-rate this out, we can come up with an expected outcome for the month:
Sunday: 0-1-1
Monday: 0-0-0
Tuesday: 2-1-1
Wednesday: 1-0-0
Thursday: 2-0-0
Friday: 0-1-0
Saturday: 1-2-1
Total: 6-5-3 for 15pts of a possible 28.

That record is even worse then there are actually only 2 Thursday games and you counted it as 4.
