British Flyer fans...

Saturdays evening game was probably going to be the Wings game. I had a word with a friend who knows the guy who runs NASN.

I talked up the Flyers series, local rivalry, chance to see the defending champs go out etc. He then sent off an email to the head of NASN, 15 minutes later the TV schedule was changed to the Flyers v Devils.

Its pretty cool that I managed to help change the schedule so we hopefully get to see the Devils go out!

that's awesome Steve, now make a call to ESPN to change their forecast from Play by Play Bass Fishing to some god damn playoff hockey.
I'm not complaining though, TSN has been covering our series as well as ESPN2.
Sometimes in Canada it's an advantage to play the Leafs, as you get massive coverage by the CBC, which is awesome all around for watching a hockey game.

For some reason I think I heard CBC is covering the Saturday afternoon game.

My 1st call would be to CBC to get rid of that clown Cherry and the biased commentators.

Cherry is kinda funny, but those commentators are more than biased (esp. Bob Cole and Harry Neale)

It's their job to be biased, you won't see any other play by play guys do the opposite. But I thought I read somewhere as well that CBC will be covering the game Saturday, that's great news.

But Harry Neale is hilarious when Toronto is losing... he tries to be the brave little soldier and come up with something positive to say about the opposition, or the reason that the Leafs lost, but he just can't find the words.......

Cherry is great...He speaks his mind and I applaud that. I will agree that some of the commentators for CBC are homeristic (Is that even a word), but Chris Cuthbert who usually does the western games is by far the best play by play man in North America. On the opposite side Glenn Healey has to be the worst colour guy ever and add to the fact he seems to be dumb as a cup of dirt.

As a fellow UKer, A BIG THANK YOU STEVE!!!!

Its funny that you did that, because I'm mates with the producer for Channel 5s NHL coverage. I can't believe that we're only seeing Philly for the 2nd time in a 5 game series!!! Every Ott-Tor game has been on and so has every STL-SJ match.

I will be glued to NASN tonite at 8pm

Yeah I'm clueless as to way the Flyers have featured so little on Ch5. It's a poor effort. Surely they should have had at least one game. I know Ch5 have little control over it but even so.
