Season-Ticket Holders...

Don't forget about the pre-game Town Hall Meeting at the Nashville Convention Center beginning at 5:30 PM. David Freeman, Ed Lang, David Poile, and NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman will all be in attendance. Doors open at 5 PM.

anyone know how many seats are left for tonight? would be nice to have a sellout for our rare home VS game.

Unfortunately, there are 3,000+ tickets left as of this afternoon. Hoping for a nice walkup crowd to push us to 15k, but I'm not holding my breath being a Tuesday night with the primaries and bad weather to compete with.

Let's focus on the on-ice product tonight. It is our team's chance to play in front of a national audience and hopefully garner some respect. Looking forward to a great game!

I talked to my ticket agent, I wanted to move down to club level for tonight...

Attendance is around 16K, as of about 3 this afternoon

The Carolina D are getting too many free, open shots on net.
That has to change in the 2nd

currently they are not letting anyone out of the Sommet Center due to Tornado warnings, and potential touchdowns all around TN.

Hopefully everyone from this board and everyone in general stays safe.

I was going to stay... until the intermission band started playing again as "entertainment" for the crowd. Worst band all year, which is saying something.

At that point, I couldn't take anymore. The ushers at the door tried to stop me, at which point I informed me they could not do so. A few minutes later it sounded like everyone was let out.

Great game, by the way...good atmosphere, and Mason made some huge saves. Ward robbed us a few times.

There were a LOT of Canes fans there. Most opposing fans I've seen in quite some time.

Easily Mason's best game of the year. Nice to see the Sommet on VS in HD. The crowd was loud and the guys hung tough. Canes are a great transition team and we had trouble with it tonight- give them credit. I thought it was a highly entertaining match for 1-0. Good showing Preds.

hey that's what i did. and there was partly cloudy skies with no rain once i made it outside. i know that the AMS has everyones best interest at heart, but there are times that i wonder if they are not trying to oversell things to boost their own importance(in chaos there is profit). i guess snow and tornado seasons are their times to put the fear of god into the masses.

i had to laugh that it took a 3:1 to beat ward tonight. the D kept mason fairly clean all night(outside shots that were unobscured) and controled any rebounds. the canes seemed to give up quite a few pucks in their own zone....to bad we couldn't make them pay.

several canes sweaters, but not as many wings that will be in attendance next week.....oh and wing suck, even though they may beat us.

so far 4-0 this season in cames i have made in person.

I'm curious how is it that both teams are celebrating 10 year anniversarys yet the hurricanes are a year older?

1998-2008, 10 years but only 8 seasons.

Good game. Mason was sharp tonight, so was Ward.

Man the standings are tight.. a win can vault you as high as 5th or a loss could put you out of the playoffs....

Well it should be interesting to look at the standings each morning lol

I first game was in 1998, so since its 2008, I guess they are calling it 10 years. I think they should have waited until the start of the 2008 season to officially call it 10 years (yet not 10 seasons..).

Yeah, basically we needed some marketing point to hype so that people will be excited about celebrating hockey.

Thankfully, the VS guys and Bettman had some good things to say about nashville on the boradcast.

What a hit by Zidlicky on Staal!! Led to the 3on1.

Great goal by Dumont. That line strikes again.

Both goalies played great with some huge saves.

I saw some of the replay on VS and we looked good. The crowd was into it even with the storms around and the arena looked nice and bright. I heard the thunder in the third period on TV.
