Does anybody have a relative playing in the tournament?

If you are familiar with this tournament, and/or follow it, who do you think will win it?

I'm familiar with the Silver Stick tournaments. A team from the rink I work at just won one in December in Canada.

Brad Park, Guy Lafleur, Marcel Dionne, Gilbert Perrault, Mark Howe, Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Sylvain Côté, Eric Lindros all played in it.

It is also the largest Peewee Hockey Tournament In The World.

There will be kids there that will eventually play in the NHL.

Will anybody be there? I will be there.

Does anybody have a relative playing in the tournament? My son is playing in it this year. I hear it is a great experience for the kids. Many people I have met who have played in it said it was one of the highlights of their hockey career. Check the latest issue of USAhockey for another example.

If you are familiar with this tournament, and/or follow it, who do you think will win it? Honeybaked will probably win. If not, then L. A. Selects or the Jr. Rangers are strong contenders. There are other teams that are strong but I am not familiar with them. Pittsburgh Jr. Penguins, Moscou Red Army, and a number of the Canadian teams are also strong. I expect Honeybaked to win, though.

A friend of my son plays for LA Select and they are going to be playing in it. I'll be checking in on it on the web to see how he does.

My son plays for the Junior Islanders. This year they have two teams and he is on the one called Long Island. He has played against one of the kids from L A Selects (BW) the last two summers in roller hockey at State Wars. The LA Selects are an awesome team and BW is rated as one of the best players in the country (if not the best). Fantastic player. My son's team plays before the LA Selects in the Coliseum on Sunday. Can't wait, Junior Rangers also have a fantastic player on their team. One of the kids on my son's team made the East Coast Selects. Another fantastic player. I expect to see some real good hockey.

I think he was talking about BW on the LA Select team. I don't want to put his name on here but you can check the roster. He also played on the U.S. Select team with my sons friend KM also from LA Select. They can both play!!!

Wouldn't this tournament be "a check game"? It's nice to know you're pretty adamant on putting down a ten year old.
