Yep..this series could've gone, and still could go either way. Worst series to bet on.

Good call. Then again, the way alot of people talked before the series, you woulda thought there was a "sure bet" in some manner. We heard MANY a teams fan claim the Sens were going to crush the Leafs, but sadly and oddly enough the only objective fans, who actually looked at the teams and knew there were chances both ways were those of the Senators and of the Leafs. Nobody else truly understood/understands this series.

The vast - and I do mean overwhelming majority - picked the Leafs to win. Most in a decisive fashion after the 6-0 season finale in Ottawa. I'm sure there were some Leaf-haters from other teams fans talking trash, but I didn't hear one media member or informed fan predict the Leafs would get crushed. More often than not, it was the Sens who were being written off.

gotta love it when fans of neither team are betting money on it and praying

I would NEVER put any money on a leafs vs sens playoff series... regular season yes, playoffs is just foolish imho, at least today... not in the past obviously highensight *sp* is 20/20

Come now. While a majority of people may have picked the Leafs to win, it's not the "vast, overwhelmingly, crushing majority" you make it out to be. This series has always been considered a very even one. You make it sound like no one gave the Sens a chance which is simply untrue. Bob Mackenzie, possibly the best hockey analyst in the business today, picked Ottawa to win this series so quit with the hyperbole already.
