im wondering if there are any experts here, but there are some kids that need to get contracts done with the club next year, and were going to have to let some talent go, any idea on which players (kids, not pros) are likely to be gone?

Graham and Kozak I would expect won't be back. If Wiikman is signed Holt might be gone.
Liffiton is iffy. I think the Rangers re-sign Jessiman--possibly Jake Taylor who is having a nice season. They'll pass on Jordan Owens. Hillier gets signed. Maybe Kveton--probably Zaborsky--depending on how many NHL contracts we have one of those might be signed to an AHL contract. Billy Ryan--I don't know--doesn't look good. Jordan Foote--no. Bahensky, Psurny--no. Lafleur--back to juniors.

Very good list, my feelings alike pretty much down the whole list.

I woulnd't lose a drop of sleep though if Graham isn't signed, even to an AHL contract. Jessiman i'd sign as well. Kveton im 50/50 if I offer him a NHL contract or not, offering him a AHL contract might keep him overseas an extra year though, then we can sign him later on..correct? I dont think he automatically just becomes a UFA.

Sorry, should have been more clear. Anyone who wasn't on the list will (IMHO of course) be signed. Jessiman will get at least another year to prove himself.

I agree to let most, if not all, the Group IIIs go. It's all those Group IIs that have me concerned.

bye bye
straka will retire (apparently he wanted to last season)
jagr and the rangers part ways
malik is probably gone by the deadline

since i don't think the rangers will offer him a big contract, i think rozy will test the UFA market and some team will offer him a big deal.

resigned
wouldn't be surprised if they resigned mara to a 1 year deal.
valiquette will be resigned imo.

who knows
avery is a tough call. he's a smart guy that wants his money unfortunately he probably over values himself. i think they'll resign him in the end.
strudwick, don't even have a gut feeling. i suppose it would be up to him whether he wants to retire or not.
