Not saying it wont happen, just saying ive heard so many different things concerning where he may, or may not go, that at this point, i just want to see something in writing on a reputable site.

He is supposed to make a decision by the end of the week concerning his foot.

I don't think he's coming back, and if he does its not going to be long before hes out again.

That's probably correct. The injury was such that bones and vessels had to be restructured, and with that comes muscle reformation.

The news about his foot not being 100% is not that it hurts or shrinks anymore, but rather that the "strength" isn't there. The race against time right now is about strengthening the muscles in his foot after years of displacement.

The strength will be there, no doubt, but it may not be there in time for the 26th, which is why Peter said he may not come back until next season. It's basically a physical therapy deal, and the difference in skates have to do with the fact that Peter needs a little extra brace around his foot to make sure the soft and hard tissues stay in place while the muscle and the tendons tighten up the "correct" way.

It's really like wearing a retainer after braces if you think about it.

Is it me, or is the whole Forsberg thing getting really old? He's coming back... he's going to play in Sweden...he's not going to play at all!....He's down to 5 teams, down to 3 teams, down to 2 teams...the ankle is healed, the ankle is not healed. I mean...what's the deal with this guy? Seems like every year it's the same story!

If he does come back, Peter, it was a SWEDISH doctor who healed him!
