Just as you, I have no problem hoping Caps will make the playoffs and go far, as long as it's not at the expense of Rangers. Ovechkin, Bäckström, Nylander, etc... very nice team.

I will probably get alot of heat for this, but in the west, I have no problem with Detroit going far. After all, half the team consists of like half the Swedish national team. And Lidström is Lidström, Hasek is Hasek and Zetterberg is Zetterberg. I also secretly admire that the franchise is run with such simplicity and smartness that has almost automatically given them success. Rangers organisation have alot to learn from their example.

My team I love to hate? The Ducks. At least they're no longer owned by Disney, but what a joke. They're the street alley thug gang that gets away with robbery. And they're led by their thug leader Pronger.

I think our game advantage will eat us up a little during this week.

That's obviously the most important thing, but the Isles aren't good enough to catch us, anyway. I don't worry about them getting two points against the Flyers, it'll just keep Philly closer to us.

And who knows? Maybe it'll give the Isles false hope that they actually have a shot, and they'll trade some kids for a veteran who won't re-sign with them at the end of the year.

Another tough night coming up 13/2:
Ottawa(72) - New Jersey(66)
As far as I'm concerned, I don't care if Ottawa sweeps all team except us.

Washington(59) - Atlanta(58)
Better if a clear winner in the SE gets the 3rd seed and a weak Carolina team gets thrown outside the playoff picture, than a third team (Atlanta) getting involved as well.

Toronto(55) - Buffalo(62)
Buffalo simply can't win, but probably will. They will pass us.

Boston(61) - Pittsburgh(69)
Boston simply can't win. If they win, they have as much points as us with 2 games less.

Montreal(67) - Florida(57)
Better a low standings team winning than a high one.

Chances are pretty high we'll get at least thrown down to 8th spot.

Have to agree here.

Pitt and Toronto fan tonight. Those are the biggest. Wouldnt mind seeing Ottawa throw a ****ing beat down on the Devils either.

I can't wait til Henke snaps out of it and plays at the level we know he can, consistently. Then no one will be bothered by the deal, no one.

Word.

I feel like I'm seeing double between this and the Lundqvist salary threads.

PruBlue's format is really nice and updated in the first post of the thread daily. If we merge them, it will end up off the first page.

Executive decision to close this one.
